Food
As I try to distance myself more the corporations, I wonder where to buy food? I know the flea market/farmers market. Any other suggestions? Going shopping today.

Whole Foods is a great company, and they are really environmentally conscious.

Re: Food
Whole Foods is also exorbitantly expensive. For those of us who are on a budget, buying stock from WF is out of the question. The best bang for your buck comes from farmers' markets. You might also try out the Riverside Arts Market on Saturdays, as they have vendors who sell edible goods, too,

Just got home from the farmers market on beaver street. Great prices and selection. had shrimp fruits and veggies.A few places had brown eggs. Shop around tho cause prices greatly vary between vendors. Watch our some stuff is still bought from corps.
