Flash Mob City-Wide Protests?
PROPOSAL: What do you think of flash mob marches a little later in our development. Marching downtown on the weekends isn't visible enough and a hassle to no one except law enforcement. For instance, we can plan to meet at the Town Center @ 1.15 on Saturday. March the entire length and then leave and go to another location. Or perhaps have 3 or 4 marches at the same time across the city. Jacksonville's central district isn't good for marches unless it's during the weekday. But we're lucky to have a big city with clusters of commerce.
Feedback would be awesome!

I LOVE the idea of this.
I just imagined everyone going about their days like normal, and at a certain time of day everyone in the movement rips out a sign and runs out chanting OCCUPY JAX!
hahahaha

Maybe we should have a flash mob at the town center on black friday? That's the most visible we could possibly be.

Remote marches would be great. Hmmmm, maybe at the same time. However, not on Saturdays at 1 pm.

I think it's a good idea. A bunch of us in the park one day a week does not make people aware. We need to be other places where we can be seen. Town Center is a great idea. It's ALWAYS busy.

I've heard the Town Center tossed around quite a bit and everyone seems afraid to touch it. The truth is, you can be on one end of the Town Center and have no idea what's going on somewhere else. However, every last shopper hits one of three stop lights. And lookie there --- sidewalk! Legal? Visible? Not preventing commerce whilst still reaching thousands? However, I'd wear a raincoat because I think we'd be getting some cold Starbucks delivered.
