Call me crazy...
...but who's driving the clown car here?
In all seriousness, I'm not seeing a lot of organization. Maybe it's the Soldier in me, but things like this need direction. Before we just meet up as a gaggle in some spot in the city, maybe we need to meet up and figure out who we are. What are our demands for the city of Jacksonville? Can anyone write up grant proposals to become a non-profit? Do we have a patron in the business community who will support us? If we really want to do some good, really make a difference, then we need a plan.

I agree full heartedly, but we have til 12 tomorrow... and I'm working the full day today. Should we all meet an hour before the protest just to get organized?

The meeting is a meeting. That is what is happening with Occupy Wall Street. People are getting together and truly democratically organizing. They are using 'the People's Mic" to discuss issues and come to consensus. That is why they call it a General Assembly. Think of it like a session of Congress without the financial greed and corruption.
