Point of contact

Hello team!

My name is Josh and I am a member of the Media group. However I post this in an attempt to help better organize Occupy Jacksonville and get a list of contacts from key individuals. This would help better answer some questions that local media, union groups, and other interested parties may have in regards to our movement.

It would be best if we could get at least one point of contact for each group, as well as a point of contact for the moderators of the Facebook page, and twitter accounts. Please contact me either posting here or pm'ing me. Right now the wonderful Ms. Nancy Pardue will be operating and collecting information via phone. I will give you her contact information so that we can create a list of contacts.

Just a suggestion, be very careful with giving the media names of "leaders." Before you know it we will have a "Michelle Bachmann" speaking for us as a group and the mainstream media taking it as the voice of the group. They love sensationalism, so they are looking for soundbites that will piss our fellow 99% currently hooked into "the matrix" off (aka piss the brainwashed people off).

Trizzle, I believe I already have your contact information via a text, so I'll get that number added to the list under your name / group affiliation.

Swayda, that's a very valid point. In my dealings with the media this far, I've made it very clear that I cannot speak for the group, as the group still technically has yet to assemble and no consensus has been made on anything.

However, this is a list of contacts for internal use only, as we are grouping into work groups, we need a network in which we can keep in contact with each other. No contact information will be given out to anyone without consent!
