Hello I'm Kelli! Empty Hello I'm Kelli!

I thought me and my husband were alone in our feelings about the corporate take over..and then suddenly there are protests everywhere! Woohoo! It brings tears of joy to my eyes! I worked 2 jobs to put myself through college only to find nothing over minimum wage in my field. I worked my way up the ladder THE RIGHT WAY only to be laid off for refusing to sleep with my new boss when Corporate took over our office. HR and EEOC did nothing. No severance and both retirement funds liquidated. Got another job 6 months later at half the salary. Was told I would never get a promotion or a raise the first day. Watched them get rid of the older employees and replace them with younger/dumber/cheaper ones. They would cap/cut employees salaries and threaten to fire them every day if we tried to do anything about it. Everyone was scared of losing their job b/c they were in debt. Lucky for me and my husband we bought a cheap home and cars and paid them off. I was able to stand up to them and tell them they were wrong -all by myself!!- and left that hell hole! Sad My husband ONLY has a job b/c he is part of a Union. My Dad makes good money but they can barely make it. My Mom had a stroke and their medical bills are drowning them. On top of that my brother who lives with them (adopted) is very mentally disabled and insurance companies refuse to cover him and his medication is several THOUSAND dollars a month. This is America and it is being destroyed. I hope this movement makes a difference!! I NEVER EVER thought I would see this day!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

You are one of the 99%!

Yep they defunded and neutered EEOC as well as Wage and Hour, that was not an accident either. People don't know about this stuff till they get thrust into it head first and need the governments protections. You found out a city of over a million doesn't even have an EEOC office anymore. Been through it too. I waited 2 hours at IRS downtown to report my former employee of tax shenanigans, the said they don't have anyone to investigate? Convenient huh! Said I could get a lawyer and sue them myself, big help! It's also by design that the agencies that help us can't anymore.

I tried to get a lawyer too but they didn't want to "waste their time" because there is "no money" in my case and it is a small 'incident'. Yes, sitting downtown filling out paperwork over and over again only for it to be shipped down to Miami where it sat for 2 years. They said my witnesses were not cooperating with the investigation (never called them) My witnesses then started calling THEM..and they would never answer the phone or return their messages begging for an interview!!! They have been bought out for sure...we are so screwed. Sad

Unless this movement actually works! 307 million people is a lot to screw with! They paid off the populace in Saudi Arabia to keep quiet, doubt that will happen here!

Just make sure you get plugged in somewhere (anywhere!) in the movement and our local groups. We are being the change we want to see and we need to stay active to fight what's happening to us and our nation. Give us some of your skills and background and talents if you're having trouble finding where to get involved and we will try to point you in the right direction. Smile
