New Team Proposal OCCUPY the VOTE

After the GA this Saturday I thought a lot about my current involvement with local groups currently pro-active in addressing serious issues such as redistricting and voter suppression. While our election system is quite broken we will need to fix that in order to ensure that when we run candidates who will represent *we the people*, we can elect them as well!

we need to vote every single congressman, every single senator, every representative, every person who has taken corporate bribes "donations" to get into office, out of their jobs

as long as we have a country run by blind idiots with their thumbs up their asses nothing will get done

WE need to encourage people who will represent us and not corporate interests to run for every elected office... if not run ourselves. This is an imperative. I mean are we going to just wait and see if the cream rises or are we going to cultivate the political landscape that will enable us to enforce the US Constitution and use it against corporate tyranny?

So like a street team to encourage people to vote?

If people want to encourage Americans to vote, I think it supports our movement. I would look great! Hope they have a big American flag. We need more. Not many last Assembly.
