NEED ADVICE FROM LEGAL TEAM
Okay so im heading across town and i looked out the car window and i had a jimmy neutron brain blast, there is significant empty area around the freeway shoulders of i10 and parts of 95/295
while the middle of the city is ideal, the next best area would be one with high public exposure
If we camped along a stretch of freeway every commuter will see us, every day rush hour traffic will be backed up right infront of us, on their way to work they will see us on their ways home they will see us
are there any laws prohibiting this??

Mind you i mean the grassy fields off to the side, not the shoulders of the road itself

I may be incorrect in saying this, but, I know that they kick homeless out from under overpasses all the time so I'm thinking they would do the same with this type of area. I could be wrong though. I would think it would be a distraction to drivers and therefore a no-no.

Re: NEED ADVICE FROM LEGAL TEAM
i posted a copy of this idea in the general discussion forum, alot of laws and statutes were posted, i read everything there and spent some time looking online, saw nothing about the fields offsides the road, if we stay far enough away from the roads and DOT/FHP property i cant see why this would be illegal
as far as being a distraction to drivers, i think the same distance rule would apply, we may not be close enough for them to read the fine print but 100-300 people holding banners 30 yards off the side of the highway will get attention without being liable for any accidents
