Keeping out Data Safe

Hey guys, I think you might be who I should go to about this.

I just saved some data on my computer about the movement and it hit me we should be teaching people who have ANY private data on their pcs to keep it encrypted!

I just downloaded and taught myself how to use TrueCrypt as I've heard it's good from people in the past, but if you guys know something better we could use, as well as websites that are safe to store group data in the cloud.

Good call Zach, this has been on the tip of my mind as well.

TrueCrypt will work for now but as I delve deeper into this web project, I'd like to come up with some kind of on the fly encryption capabilities.

For simple notes that need to stay safe, I recommend SafeSex from Nullsoft (creators of Winamp)

It's great for keeping quick notes but isn't good for actual files.
