Hey guys
I just thought I'd pop in and introduce myself. I'm betsy and I am very lucky to be a stay at home mom and navy wife in Camden county, GA. My dad always pushed me to be politically active as he was in the 60s which is why I've been following the OWS movement so closely. I've become awake to so much more than our political situation recently and OWS seems to be the perfect place to express that (for lack of a better word) "awakeness" in real form. I'm more than willing to drive to Jacksonville for events as long as you guys don't mind my toddler on my back.

Re: Hey guys
Welcome! Families of all ages are welcome! Some of the other cities seem to be a little more on the violant side then we are. Our protest are peaceful protest, and the park is a very nice area! If you like Arts and Crafts the RAM is a very cool area as well. Your more then welcome to come down!

Re: Hey guys
Thanks! I'm glad he's welcome at the events. Even moms are fed up too. What is the RAM? I'm not terribly familiar with downtown jax or the forums yet.

Re: Hey guys
http://riversideartsmarket.com/ It's underneath the 95 bridge. They have a bunch of indiviually owned booths. People selling all kinds of art, jewelry, food, and even some belly dancing/ live music performance.

Re: Hey guys
One minor warning about this coming meeting is that its the FLA GA game. So there will be a lot of traffic in general in jax. I'm not sure how much the traffic in that specific area will be affected.
